I tried to make it look like a photo that was focused on the cat. The cat's design is inspired by my actual cat, Cheddar. He's a sweetie. The only thing it's missing is th scar on it's nose and then it 'd be him! This is lineless, and I'm quite proud of the result. I used watercolors, and most of the shading and coloring was painfully on one layer. I did add lighting and a shadow on another layer though, using clipping and a gradient. I was nervous to try that, but it worked really well!
