Day 12: Bannished
When I saw todays prompt it reminded me of one of the fairies from last year. I came up with this little concept for her when I made her. Never mentioned it before, but I've also toyed with idea of writing some micro fiction to go with my art pieces. So why not do it now:
The other fairies didn’t seem to like her very much. Upon sight of her precious cave, their eyes would widen, and they would turn tail and flee as quickly as she could blink. Not all, though. Some would look furious and attack her. She couldn’t be too upset about those fairies. As much as she was terribly lonely and wanted little more than a friend, the aggressive fairies gave her new decorations. Each one added a new little lamp or two to be hung on her ceiling. Each lamp thrummed with fairy magic and gave a bright glow. It was just a shame she shouldn’t always get all the flesh off of the fairy cores without ruining the pretty glow...
