So… sigh um this took a while and I would like to tell you the story of this piece so buckle up people it’s time to go on a wild ride
So about 2ish years ago I started digital art and I was looking through my photos and found the first picture and I was like “woah that’s old” and unfortunately this was the only surviving “relic” of my digital art… journey? Then like a month-ish ago I was watching one Blits Azalis Dash’s butterflies redraw stream and I was like “I have this picture I can redraw” and at that point I was really wanting to do a style challenge in her style anyway so I was like “I must combine it” so I got started and I got through maybe a fourth of the shading and I took a break and I realized just how bad it looked so I gave up 1-and-a-half-ish weeks ago I was watching another stream and I was like “I’m going to redo that mess of a art work” so I did
