This drawing made me think a bit more about drawing with purpose. It felt better, it felt more meaningful, BECAUSE i thought of it as a part of a bigger story, one i already started to shape.
In theory I can always draw with a purpose, but currently i have difficulty doing so without making it a part of something bigger. I can technically do a study with thoughts that i want to express a certain emotion or atmosphere or draw something seemingly meaningless with a meaning… but so far I don’t know and am not sure. But that also means that I learned something and if I explore this further… who knows where and to what it could lead.
