(oh god I want to zoom it in) The white thing at the center of the slime is the core. It is the brain and heart of the slime. It processes nutrients and makes the slime be able to move around. The slime attacks and pulls things in with it's thorny attack. There's is a thin white film covering the slime, allowing things like grass to be stuck to the slime, then the sensitive nerves sticking out detect the grass, making the thorn come bolting out of the skin, pulling the grass in. This is also how the slime defends itself, even though it's not a very good defense. Whatever the slime eats goes into the core through a tube in the body, but there are multiple tubes, one for transporting food to the core with liquid, and one that spreads that nutrients throughout the slime, and that nutrients is called "gel." The slime reproduces with gel stored in it's core. At the end of the slimes lifespan, a different slime, classified as a "pinky," will come out. It is a lot stronger then a normal slime
