I first drew this like 2 months ago
I originally created him for the sole purpose of making “edgy” animation memes
He was originally going to have like 3 personalities and then a shadow form with each personality getting mor evil
I quickly realized this was a stupid concept
And gave up on him for a bit
I gave him a complete makeover and scraped my original idea
From there I had a design and a shadow form
As I developed his story more it became more special to me
So yeah that is how Knox was created
As for his name I look through listens of name starting with k meaning darkness or shadows I picked Knox even though it means hill or something but I liked it
Also his story is split in 2 main parts
The Knox part
And the snot part (shadow Knox part)
So yeah
