As a vampire hunter, he was sent on a mission to find and eradicate a supposedly ancient, old, and evil pureblooded vampire. While Shou did end up finding his target, all he found was a young-looking vampire so engrossed in his BL novels that he did not even notice Shou entering from his windows. Piqued at the huge disparity between the information he received and what he was witnessing, he let his guard down and approached the still-oblivious vampire.
And when the vampire finally noticed Shou looming over behind him, instead of showing an expected reaction, he went, "Ah. I have been fantasizing about the main lead so much that he came to life." (⁰▿⁰)
