Lotek is a Indonesian food from Java. It consists of steamed vegetables mix such as spinach, bean sprout, cabbage, and yardlong bean. You have to add some dishes like noodles or rice cake, fried tofu, tempe, boiled egg, and bakwan (Indonesian vegetable fritter). You have to mix all of ingredients with peanut sauce made from peanut, brown sugar, and kaempferia galanga. Don't forget to add kerupuk (Indonesian deep fried crackers) to make this food tastes more savory.
