In this picture, I tried to present Japanese Culture from my style. Since I am new in the field of illustration, I wanted to produce something with the resources I had and I participated in the contest with my analog painting. In the technical details of the painting, I used watercolor, marker pen and technical pens in harmony. I used red, one of the most important colors of Japanese culture, in certain details. This is to highlight the dark side that I like to use in my paintings. The watercolor technique used in the background stylises a "water" look in the background and blends with the fish. Immediately after, the golden circle in the center of the picture aims to add light and saturation to the picture and represents the sun. A contrast has been achieved with the pale colors of the picture. Bamboo, which is a part of Japanese culture, is on the right, as water details are embroidered in the background. Masks are preferred at the bottom in order to emphasize the dark style.
