Inspired on "Green Lantern" #40 cover drawn by Gil Kane and Murphy Anderson. Raio Negro (Black Bolt) is a superhero with powers similar to "Silver Age" Green Lantern (in his secret identity, Raio Negro is Roberto Salles, a pilot of the Brazilian Air Force). Raio Negro was created in the 1960s by late Brazilian writer/artist Gedeone Malagola. The caped Raio Negro is a character created by fanzine editor Marcos "Trovejante" Nascimento and his origin is reminiscent of Marvel comics "The Man Called Nova".
