They're Antrophormic characters of traditional weapons from Borneo (Dayak): Mandau, and the Shield. Mandau is a traditional sword usually used in a local event in Borneo along with the shield.
Mandau is a mystical weapon, some people also believed that Mandau could fly by itself and strikes enemies. Nevertheless, it also can be used in daily life to cut meat, plants, etc. by the locals.
They are also used in traditional dance.
