Blue wears armor under her clothes to protect her heart which is out in the open hence vulnerable. This armor gets heavier, causing her pain, and the only place that rids her of this pain is space. She ties a blue knot around her ankle every time she goes up to space so that she can go back to earth. But this knot starts hurting her after a while and it comes to a point where she has to choose between the Void and Earth.
