La merienda es una comida o snack vespertino cada vez menos comun. Especialmente en días fríos suele ser pan dulce acompañado de café, leche o chocolate caliente o atole.
Sweet bread
Merienda is the name for an evening snack, like the British tea, but usually on cold weather and coffee, hot milk or chocolate or atole, a beverage based on corn flour and spices.
Bread is sweet and show the influence of the many cultures that nurtures us (even if most people are unaware): French, Chinese, US and, of course, Spanish.
