As the Greatest master of Illusions his kind has ever seen, Môrádêl brought his tribe great honor and prestige. His work became legendary, his very existence temporarily bringing peace to the Veil. The Shade population was flabbergasted, however, when Môrádêl decided not to engage in romantic relations with the dozens of willing females. Môrádêl could have made himself dictator, but he opted to live a quiet life alone, wandering the Veiled lands. The Shades feared that one day he would return from his journeys and be like his mentor, the infamous prophet of the Life Flame, a deity that the Shades refused to acknowledge. To their knowledge, Môrádêl simply vanished, disappearing from the Veiled lands, never to be seen again. But an later strike team sent to the Lands beyond the Veil encountered him there, showing little human children funny little tricks for their own amusement. And Môrádêl happened to end up exactly as the other Shades feared, serving the Life Flame with no regrets.
