The delinquent got caught reading manga in class for the hundredth time so the teacher had to put him in after class cleaning duty. The class rep was put in charge of surveying him. She finds him strange. She cannot understand how one can live a life without trying his hardest to succeed. It has gotten late. As they talk about their different views, the boy lends her the manga he was reading. It was the manga that made him think delinquents are cool. She finds herself unexpectedly immersed in it. She is thinking that she understands him a bit more now, while he... is thinking that he's glad he was put on detention.
