It was cold, like it has always been, but the snowstorm stopped, the sky turned purple and everything seemingly calmed down.
They were in a makeshift tent, all 23 of them, a fraction of the tribe that got separated during the previous snowstorm. Navigation in this snow world had always been difficult and so they always tried not to wander off too far. But this time they did.
