A thought had come upon me. My dear Ink lives within a world between the iron and bronze age with a bit of the mystical added to the mix. So how in the world would Iris (protagonist) know to name Ink "INK"? This of course had gotten me thinking about Iris' own name. Would people in this era even know what an Iris is? Thankfully a quick Google search quelled at least one of my concerns. Ink, in fact, existed long before Iris was born. However, the opposite could be said about the word Iris. Oh dear, I have quite the dilemma on my hands. I can only think of one way to justify his name, but I seldomly and uncomfortably use this excuse knowing it can be the difference between making him an overpowered or a Mary sue character.
