For me, art has often been a pursuit of beauty just as much as a form of expression. I can't help it, I just love looking at pretty, cute, and beautiful things. ^_^
This piece was also a study in lighting- I used a Multiply layer over the original piece and filled that with a dark purple color. Erasing some parts of the layer gives a nice shadow effect.
