This is related to the story. idk how it happened exactly but I'll tell you how I heard the story. so Narinder was confused about death or the old faith and wanted to do whatever, but the bishops where in the way of that. narinder rebelled against his siblings by harming them. he ripped Leshy's eyes out, slit Heket's throat open, ripped Kallamar's ears off, and split open or crushed Shamura's skull. Narinder's punishment for his rebellion was to be chained up, banished to his domain, and lose his role as the fifth bishop. ur goal in the game is to kill the bishops and "free" the one who waits (Narinder)
idk if the bishops got hurt before or after Narinder got chained up.
if u look at the bishops faces u can see that Shamura is the only one crying. that's because shamura was the bishop that was the most hurt emotionally (probably physically as well) and its not out of character for shamura to cry :(
