The leader of the gods whose purpose is to illuminate the world with light and frees the human beings from the darkness. The demons, as the contrary party, has always been an eyesore to her since the beginning of time. Blaming them for the corruption of humans, total annihilation of those accursed being is the best thing she'd want to achieve.
That said, her profile as a whole is still a mystery, only appearing in several legends as humans' savior by eliminating every single trace of darkness. Thus, it is believed that she is deeply connected to the creation of the world where humans currently reside in. Yet, her true nature is questionable at best. Whether or not darkness is the reason for humans to act in such malicious ways, it is naive to say that the world is free from misdeeds. One might even say that all this happened at the goddess' fault. Of course, this view is nothing more than suicide in the ancient time, yet it became more apparent and accepted in the current society.
