This girl wasn't originally going to be for April's contest, but when I sketched her I thought how cute she would be with paint splattered over the image! The original perspective was a bit different, and the paint splatters as well, and it wasn't even supposed to end up pixel art at first, but I think that's okay because I like how it came out. I still hope to get a non-pixel art image up later when I can do one better, though. (^-^) (I'm still learning MediBang Paint and getting used to my old tablet again. (^-^;))
Colour means so many different things to me. Here I was drawing off feelings of fun and self-expression while working. Good times. Being carefree.
My mom has laughed a lot and said I remind her of herself when she was younger, especially in the '80s. I laugh and admit I love '80s influence, especially fashion and music, because of how fun they can be and how much they feel like me. I tried to carry those feelings through this image as well.
