Mortadelo and Filémon are characters created by Spanish cartoonist Francisco Ibañez (1936-2023). Another inspirations to this illustration are "Asterix in Spain" and "Asterix Gladiator", French graphic novels written by Renée Goscinny (1926-1977) and drawn by Albert Uderzo (1927-2020). There are other homages here, but I gave to you discover it for yourself.
