Winter in my native land. My city Almaty is located at the foot of the Tien Shan mountains. In 1 hour from my house I can reach the eternal glaciers in the mountains at an altitude of 3600 meters above sea level. The mountains are so close to us!
I really love nature, animals, plants. A long time ago, my people - the Kazakhs believed in the God of the sky Tengri and the Goddess Zher-Su (goddess of the Earth, water, glaciers, animals, plants). In my painting, I wanted to depict my vision of Mother Winter through the Goddess Zher-Su, who brought winter to my region and show her the way I see her.
