So, I have these two songs stuck in my head for the past week. It's Taylor Swift's "Only The Young" and P!nk's "What About Us?" (You guys should listen to those songs if you haven't already!). I heard them on Spotify and both songs ended up playing back-to-back. Ever since then, I've had this image stuck in my head and the desire to draw it.
It took me 9 hours and 43 minutes to complete and of all the elements in this artwork, the fetus--representing the children of today and the future generations to come--was, by far, the easiest to draw. Next to that is the leafling--which represents the chidren's potential. Everything else took HOURS to complete...which isn't something new since, as I have mentioned before, I am not that great with backgrounds. Still, this was a fun and uplifting piece to create and I am dedicating this to Taylor Swift, P!nk, and all the children living now and those that will be born in the future.
