At first I set out to just do a normal forest at night. No shadows, no layer of fog or evil miasma or whatever, no creatures. Just some trees under a night sky. Seemed a good thing to paint because I like landscapes and night time. But I started playing around with brushes and it evolved into this. I think it looks pretty good for my first real painting. Probably not as good as what a lot of other people here could do, but I'm proud of it.
