Cross decided to take a walk. She had gotten more nasty comments from that one toxic person and decided fresh air would help. She had lots of people who supported her online and she knew it, but that one cruel person was stuck in her head and she didn't like it. She hope her little stroll would help...

It was raining heavily, she was far from home, she forgot her umbrella and she was soaking wet. Great. She knew waiting the storm out would take too long.
"Excuse me, miss."
Cross looked down, only to find a little girl with a ridiculously large umbrella. She seemed to be a hybrid.
"Excuse me, but could you take this?"
The child offered her umbrella, and Cross gratefully took it.
"Thank you"
She smiled. The child smiled back.
"It's okay. You've got us!"
Cross looked up, confused. She could see a group of diverse creatures in the distance, all with their own umbrellas. So that's what she meant.
"Gotta go now! they're waiting for me!" and like that, she sped towards the crowd.
