"The Birdboy likes to appear every time I have a bad day or I am not feeling well, always in the place where the sun meets the horizon and shy stars shine in the sky. He knows exactly how to cheer me up: with his magic hands he makes hundreds of birds appear that shine as if they were made of diamonds, that fly around us with beauty and grace, as if they dance with the wind. Since his favorite birds are owls, he always wears an owl-themed mask and pretends to be a superhero; more specifically, my superhero, and he encourages me to fight my nightmares by promising to always stay by my side. Sometimes I wish I could meet him somewhere other than my dreams, so I can take him into my room and play with my toys all day, and drink hot cocoa with marshmallows at night, while we catch fireflies in my backyard. But he is happy in this world of eternal sunset. And if he's happy, then so am I."
