This piece took way too long to complete. I did not realize how complex and detailed Xiao's design was until I started. I initially picked him because I had seen cutscenes of him and thought he was cool. His design had a lot of colors I don't normally use and various patterns or shapes I don't draw much or at all, lol. I figured Xiao would be a fun way to get out of my comfort zone. I did enjoy drawing him but man is his design a pain in the butt. Anyway here's a funny story for you. I was showing my sister photos of the characters I was planning to draw. And right as our mom walks by, my sister asks if Xiao is shirtless. I had to hurriedly explain that he had a white shirt that was just close to his skin tone, so he wasn't shirtless. It was mortifying at the time but now funny when I think about it. Anyway hope you enjoy the piece and have a great day!
