Em was a Jedi knight during the Clone Wars but broke the Jedi Code by having not 1, but 2 attachments. She was able to hide it from the Jedi council in the end, and she pretty much tried to avoid the council at all costs.
She had a daughter by another Jedi and went into hiding after Order 66.
