Backstory: David Anderson and Amelia Whiley (Sun’s parents) got together in high school, David was nice then but slowly became toxic and abusive. He never hit her though. He just insulted her and molded her to be what he saw as perfect. She really did love him and when Sun was about 6, David abandoned them completely. Consequently that hit Amelia with debt, heartbreak, and now the struggles of raising a child with super powers on her own. David had a few relationships and ended up being even worse to them. Sun had to work a job at a fast food restaurant to provide for his mom and help pay the bills.
Extra Info: Amelia and David both have superpowers. David has fire, ash, and flight abilities and Amelia has flight and light abilities. Amelia is white and David is half Hispanic.
