Russian Maslenitsa is celebrated before the Great Lent. Also, at the end of the bliny week, in the park a scarecrow is burned. Noting Maslenitsa the people see off the winter and welcome spring. This week it is customary to bake bliny (it's like a pancake) every day, they can be eaten with anything, with jam, fish, meat, caviar, berries, butter etc.. Also used to drink tea from a samovar (it's like a kettle) and ate sushki like the ones that can be seen on the girl. Sometimes people wear traditional Russian clothing. A lot of people come to the park for the Maslenitsa. This holiday lasts long enough and everyone can feel it on themselves.
