Aris: who knows, maybe a few sailors calling at a missus irritated the man who was by her side.
With a hand rubbing her head Llyra stood astonished.
Llyra: it was just a few boys poking fun while off duty, this is an overreaction!
Aris: ah, ma' dear you don't understand, this isn't for cat callin' the miss, this for a slight against the man.
She gained a flat face.
Llyra: What?
Aris: it' one thing if I wasn' there, you'd handle it however you'd like, but seeing me there with you, seeing my arm wrapped around you. An' havin' the gall to still call on you. Now that filled me with rage.
Llyra: and I begged you not to do anything!
Aris's eyes glow brightly in the light of the flames.
Aris: like that would calm me
Llyra groaned as he started to chortle.
