before the pandemic I used to buy some cheap fries on the street on the way home
it's really cheap like 21 yen one small cup of about 9 pieces of fry
i always buy 3 servings of it after school
but since I can no longer buy one outside
I tried frying in a pan
one 1kg of cheap fries cost like 234 yen here and I live near a mart
so I attempted to fill the pan with as much oil as I can and fried the fries
it didnt turn out well because we had no non stick pans
The fries basically stuck to the bottom of the pan and got charred black. Though I was able to salvage some.
Our land lady got mad at me due to smell haha
My mom just laughed at my failure and told me it'd be convenient if we had an air fryer
Thus...this wish was born.
