He may not look much like a Sonic character, but aside from Eggman, He may not look much like a Sonic character, but aside from Eggman, I don't know of any characters with a heavyset body type. He wouldn't look much like a Sumo Wrestler if he had the small body and lanky limbs like most other Sonic characters.

And even Eggman is somehow chubby but lanky at the same time. Fat body, thin limbs. And he's not even as fat as he used to be, as in his classic Robotnik design, his body is literally egg shaped.
