Keeping in mind that 'Gon, the Little Fox' by Nankichi Niimi, is a famous Japanese folklore, I chose to use a simple, watercolour style to evoke a kind of modern take on Japanese calligraphy art and to make it appealing for a child audience. I used English for the words/name as I imagined it would be for a publication of an English adaptation of the story, in the form of a children's storybook.
