Herton was a fierce king, who did not think twice before even considering forgiveness for the smallest of wrong feats. One day however, a wizard who was fighting for his own people, which so it happens Herton found guilty of stealing from his kingdom -a lie set by some mercenaries in order for them to make a quick sickles or two-, defeated single handed the purging army of 268 men and set a curse on the king.
- He shall not set foot on stone, and if he does, his feet will wither. Only water can cure his aching, and heal thy wounds completely. No meat, no flesh, nor crop or insect all, shall feed his paining hunger. While his heart remains the same, so shall this spell that he was set under.
And so it did. The curse was set. Years passed by the lonely king with no change. Unseen, unheard and hunted because his monstrous past actions and his monstrous appearance. Until a certain day, when a faithful encounter happened to fall on his crown.
