"The exit is just behind you. You go first, I'll catch up later."
The boy hesitated for a second before pulling the blind girl close to him.
He whispered, "Please...don't forget about me."
The girl felt chills down her spine. But before she could react, the boy pushed her out.
"Don't look back. Everyone's waiting for you behind the gate."
The girl resisted her urge to turn back as this was his wish. She had no choice.
She began running towards the gate, towards where everyone else are. As she ran, she felt darkness slowly fading away, and hope returns to her once again.
But what she could no longer feel...
was the presence of the boy she most dear.
