General Xie, a famous god from Chenhuang temple in Taiwan who is responsible for capturing evil spirits. Whenever there is a festival procession in Taiwan, he would walk in the front of the parade( with general Fan) and somtimes they would do their creepy dance.
Many Taiwanese children are scared of him since his figure is probably more frightening than the actual evil spirits. I was no exception, for me, he is the best representative of “Monster,” but also one of the coolest gods in Taiwan!
台灣小孩的惡夢：謝必安將軍。小時候我總是被七爺嚇到，長大得知他是抓捕惡鬼的神明後心裡踏實了不少。畢竟長得比惡鬼還惡鬼一定很能驅鬼。
