I do a lot of realism and I didn’t get into art until 2019 when my art teacher nominated me for a summer program that apparently is really hard to get into and I had no idea what I was doing most of the time when trying to get in. And once I did, I realized how bad my art sucked and soooo I tried to get better (tip: practice doesn’t help, I found it was easier to look at others art, animals, watch people, sketch pictures from your phone etc. it’s more about observation tbh) and here we are, after stumbling around for a good art program that wasn’t too complicated and going through millions of sketch books, I’m here and still making drawings that suck , Then spending hours to improve and forgetting about it
