And 4. Don't rush things. I know that people say, "Oh, you need to know what you wanna do, who you wanna be, what college you wanna go to" just because you're in high-school now, but just know it's okay not to know. Honestly, people who rush to have their lives put together as soon as they start high-school usually end up the most confused in the future. Just take your time, and make sure to take care of yourself.
That's all I have on the top of my head, but this is the advice I can give from the mistakes I've made and others I know. I hope this will be useful.

3. Remember, high-schoolers can be stupid. You're going to most likely run into some weird people that can try to put you down in many different ways. Just remember that not everything anyone says is true. I know that also sounds cliche, but it actually happens; sometimes people can say something enough times that you begin to believe it's true too. Don't let those people put you down, just remember that those kind of people do those things for petty reasons.

Okay, I guess my big pieces of advice would be...
1. Don't do stupid things. Like in general, don't do anything stupid because everything you do from now on will go on your record, and colleges will see that in the future. Not only that, but these are some years you do not want to regret.
2. Make sure you make good friends. Not only that, but make sure you actually like them. 9 times out of 10, these friends are at least going to be there for half if not your entire high-school life. Not to be cliche, but those people can and will change you for better or worse. Also, if you become friends with someone you don't like that could lead to drama or having someone you hate around you 24/7.
