So bout that fur
Top -Green- Long hair like texture- black base, Flat brush (dry), layered in rows starting from a light color and slowly working up by adjusting the color slightly each row
Bottom -Blue and Red- thick fluffy fur- black base, Flat brush, swipe inwards (opposite to the direction you want the fur to flow) and work from bottom up (from wherever the fur direction is pointing to, back) the black base gives the shadow effect, there are other ways to do this but this is the easiest in my opinion, for this kind of use. Smaller brush for shorter fur/hair(?) (Like on a face/muzzle kinda area) and bigger brush size for longer fur/hair (body) areas.
The examples below would be more so body size fur/hair
*please note that I use the MediBang APP, not the pc version
There are other ways to get a nicer result but they are a bit trickier and can only really be done on pc*
