I was at the mall today. I was eating with my cousin when a little girl (around 9 years old) walked up to the counter. She was about to leave and I think she was just waiting for someone when I looked up and we made eye contact.

She looked familiar and to my surprise, she smiled and ran to me, calling me Manang *insert my name here* and hugged me. HUGGED ME. I was so shocked but I quickly pulled away and put my mask on. She didn't mind it and just started talking to me about school and how much she and her class missed me and that's when I realized; this little girl was one of my students whose school I would go to once every week to teach last year. I was so touched that she remembered me. She told me that she hopes I'll be able to come teach them again soon because they found my lessons fun and they learned a lot.

Her mom came to get her not long after that and both said thank you to me and wished me a Merry Christmas. I felt so happy you guys she was so sweet😢💓

Then my cousin sprayed alcohol on me😅😂

Note: Manang is like Ate; it means Older Sister. It is used to respectfully address an older female🤗✨
