So after I post my art I send pictures of my art to my family group chat and after my three newest ones my mom was like why are ur characters so depressed looking and I’m like they don’t even look depressed and besides not everyone has a happy happy goody two shoes day. Can’t she just like appreciate my art and be like great job but they look a little sad but that’s ok because not everyone has a good day instead of “why do they look so depressed, r u depressed?” Being an artist isn’t easy bro and I have to practice different expressions but why does she think I’m depressed after drawing something where they don’t have an upbeat expression on their face. And honestly happy happy isn’t my style. If I decide to pursue art when I graduate high school I’d want to have a big variety but I love horror art and horror anime and stuff so I’d want to draw that. Anyways have a great day!
