The time I got misgendered (9 times!)
Soo.. Uhh you can say "but haminations got misgendered so your copying him"
1st of all: he got misgendered twice. I got misgendered 9 times
2nd: I am not copying, this happens to many boys who are late bloomers, such as myself and bryson.(haminations)
And last: Not everything happens to just one person. Well.. You could argue "yeah it can!" But not EVERYTHING happens to just ONE SINGLE person. It can happen to many others.
Anyways, you read the title : the time I got misgendered..
One day, I got hungry so I called up mcdonalds, bc its delicious 😋
And this is how it went
Worker: Hello, this is McDonald's, how can we take your order? "
Me: Hello, so I was wondering if I could order: Cheeseburger with fries, a coke and chicken nuggets.
Worker: Would you like ice? "
Me: yes please.
Worker: ok let me get that ready for you"
20 mins pass..
Worker: Sorry, our Ice machine is broken can i get you anything else ma'am?
My head: MA'AM??! MA'AM???? I'M A BOY!!! SHE THINKS IN A GIRL??!
Me: *nervously* Ohh then well can i get a hot chocolate *nervous laugh*
Worker: We don't do that here, sorry. if you want to see what is up, come to us ma'am.
Me: *NERVOUSLY AND AWKWARDLY* uhh... Sure... But can i arrive at-
worker hangs up.
Me: BRO THOUGHT I WAS A GIRL!! THIS IS WORSE THAN PEOPLE DENYING MY AGE TOO!!! AGH (story abt that soon :D)
So I walk to McDonald's and I choose the EXACT order but I change the drink to a banana milkshake.
Worker: that'll be £20.90 are you the one that called?
Me: yes.. *aWkWOrD lauGh*
Worker: ...
She was shocked, she knew on the phone she called me ma'am and was confused to see I was a boy.
She gave me my order and said this:
Worker: Enjoy y-your food, ma'am.
Then she stood, stunned. the AUDACITYYY to call me ma'am IN PERSON!!!!
Look, I'm 18, I look 12. I'm a boy, I "look" and sound like a girl. This just sucks.
