Did anyone else have this issue?
Recently, one of my artworks has been taken down for “lack of compliance with our Terms of Service, in accordance to terms 17.1.23, and 22.1.1”. 17.1.23 in the terms of service states that a submitted artwork will be taken down if it is a part of “other acts that the Company determines inappropriate” that is not a part of the specified “prohibited matters”. This would mean any submitted artwork that would be common sense to be deemed inappropriate that is not stated in the topics above would be deleted/removed, which I believe makes since. However, in what world would a stylized drawing of a dog be considered “inappropriate”? When I found out that my artwork was removed, I was a bit upset because I spent several days working on it, but I wasn’t too peeved. I thought, “Well, I violated the terms of service, I guess. What am I gonna do?” However, I was not sure what exactly I did wrong, so I checked the terms of service, and nothing in the article specified anything that would apply to my art piece. How is a puppy a violation of the terms of service? Did anyone else experience a similar issue, or is it just me? I’m hesitant to email the staff about this issue because I’m worried an automated bot will respond instead of an actual person who may try to look into the problem, like many other social media platforms. I will also link the files of the original artwork on my Tumblr (@tinyjordan), so that if someone sees something that I did not see and would like to point it out for me, they could let me know. Thank you for taking the time to read this if you did. I will also have this on my Tumblr as well.
