It's kinda hot there, so the usual clothing would be light and droopy, probably being a lighter fabric like chiffon and charmeuse. Pieces meant to hide and protect delicate areas are always made with heavier and durable fabrics.
Pummer's wearing an accent piece that's a deep purple, purple is usually worn by rich and royal (and Pummer is part of a family who is in fact, Rich and Royal)
Although not an outfit fit for battle and war, its considered elegant, and fashionable."
