Neon can rarely change colour only in with strong emotions, he's doesn't know that until when he suddenly became sad, he turned blue.
His clothing don't change colour with the emotion that he's on though,but if by any chance if he goes emotionless he turns grey and his entire clothing goes pale-ish.
Note: purple is his natural colour and that's basically his normal and enthusiastic mood.
