So, a little backstory about my elf boy. His hair color changes depending on his mood, or if he just wants to change it. It’s usually red to symbolize his satanism and deal with the devil (get to that later). He has one eye with blackened parts of the white, and the other just normal. I accidentally put the scar on the wrong side of his face wHoOpS— but it should be going over his blakened eye. He has a light blue eye, and an emerald green eye. The blue symbolizes his patience and kindness, while the green eye shows that he is strong, wise and manipulative. Usually when people make deals with the devil, their eyes stay the same color that they were previously before the deal, but with Donnovan’s case, that’s not how it went. So, speaking of the deal with the devil, what was it? When Donnovan was a little kid, he would always see things (he had a small case of schizophrenia as a child due to very traumatic events). It got worse and worse as he grew older, and he eventually wasn’t able to tell what was real and what wasn’t. While hallucinating one day, he had imagined the gateway to hell, which sparked his curiosity. Well, it wasn’t his imagination, the gates were actually there, glowing red from the firey embers that sat below. Donnovan followed down into the tunnel, and came back up into the Underworld. He was faced with Satan himself, and the Lord asked what he had wanted. “I want to know what’s real from fake. I want to be able to go to work and make friends without scaring them away with my condition.” Satan had thought for a moment, before settling on the deal. “I will grant you this wish, but I want something in return. Your soul.” Donnovan was desperate, and so, he gave up the one thing that he had still held on to. Now, the process of soul taking is difficult. Donnovan’s soul was especially difficult since he wanted to hold onto it so badly. It wouldn’t leave his body, and thus, the devil got mad. He slashed the boy’s right eye, causing him to have a blackened and blued eye with a long scar running down it. Eventually, Donnovan’s schizophrenia went away, but so did his soul. He couldn’t really feel anything, unless he really tried. That was long, I’m sorry lmao—
The jacket that he wears was custom made by the devil’s little faries. Donnovan fell absolutely in love with it, especially with the pentagram pin that was pinned on the right arm of the sleeve. He wears ripped black jeans and black boots (so edgy jfc) and has a few bracelets. Surprisingly, he has no piercings, but he does have a small tattoo of yin and yang on his wrist to symbolize his sane side, and insane side which will be explained in a different post.
