I’m making a book about a little girl that is ill and befriending her shadow.
Sense she’s always alone in her room she decides to start talking to her shadow bc nobody would visit her bc of how vulnerable she is to any sickness.
She finds out her “shadows” name is alastor
Soon enough her shadow “comes to life”
Her parents don’t believe her having a “friend” bc she’s never been outside to meet anyone.
One day she falls ill
She has this feeling that she won’t make it, and her parents do too.
So she writes her a note that says
“Dear Alastor,
Even though you leave at the end of everyday
We always reunite,
But One day we might not be able to reunite.
You’ve always kept me company when nobody else would,
So I want you to do that for another person if we can’t reunite.”
She wasn’t ever able to finish the letter bc she was rushed to the hospital.
It turns out that her friend wasnt her shadow all along but a little boy that had the same condition as her
And his duty was to never make little kids feel abnormal or alone
