MY SECRETS (to hair shading)
Hey y'all! I'm going to explain to you my secrets for how I shade/highlight hair!
Tip 1: Block in the shadows with a round brush
Tip 2: Then, use a tapered marker/brush to kind of define the hair strands.
Tip 3: I use a speckled brush with layer mode ADD and I just go over the hair like that. It gives it a cool, mystifying look! (as shown in the image)
Tip 3: In Procreate, I use a square-shaped textured brush called "specter" (I think that's what it's called.) It gives such a cool effect to the hair!! (also as shown in the image)
